A Quickstart Guide to Publishing on yroswellpark.com

Click on the "sign up" link at the top of the site to get your very own my.roswellpark.org account. You are required to have a my.roswellpark.org account to use any Roswell Park Cancer Institute website including yRoswell.
Follow the instructions in the my.roswellpark system. You may need to allow pop-ups to complete the application process.
After completing signup you will receive an email at the account you used to register. Please open that email and follow the instructions to activate your account.
When you return to www.yroswellpark.com and log-in with your user name and password (selected by you during the MyRoswell log-in process) you will immediately be taken to your blog. Whenever you want to get back to your blog, simply click on the my blog link in your user control panel - which shows up when you are logged in.
To add a new blog entry, you simply enter the text you would like into your journal publish box. You are required to publish a title with each entry. You can optionally choose a category for each journal. When you are ready to publish, click the publish button, see red arrow below.

Categorized blogs are listed by category in the left hand column of any user blog page
The links in the right hand column are recently published entries. The most recent content is at the top. If you have a friend who has a blog who is not listed there, they are still part of the site, they just don't have one of the newer entries. You can find them using the search button on the front page or by going directly to any link they shared with you to visit their blog.
There are icons that appear next to a blog when there are comments, pictures or video in them. Just click to see what is there.

This site uses "scripted windows" for times when you want to create links etc. You'll need to allow that feature if you have blocking software.
